Robert Ruddy, D.C., Faculty Clinician 

Robert Ruddy, D.C. is a Full Time Faculty Clinician at the Seneca Falls Health Center. A graduate of New York Chiropractic College, Dr. Ruddy has been a clinician and former Health Center Director at the college. He continues to teach nutrition in the younger trimesters and educate student clerks in all facets of patient care in the Health Center. He is certified in Graston Technique®, ConnecTX® and Flexion/Distraction which helps in the treatment of diverse soft tissue injuries in the many athletes that he treats.

Dr. Ruddy enjoys his role working with student clerks in the clinical setting and challenging them to become the best they can be as future Doctors of Chiropractic. He is fully immersed in his community working as a coach in multiple sports and involved in many community outreach projects to help better his local community.

Dr. Ruddy is always accepting new patients into his practice and welcomes you to join the NYCC Seneca Falls Health Center patient family.

Marnae Ergil, L.Ac., M.S.A.O.M., Professor

Dr. Marnae C. Ergil is a Professor at the Finger Lakes School of Acupuncture & Oriental Medicine of NYCC in Seneca Falls, New York. She is a licensed acupuncturist in NY and CA. Dr. Ergil began studying Chinese language in 1981 at Middlebury College, where she received her BA in East Asian Studies. She received her Master's degree in Anthropology in 1989 and her doctoral research to study the education of practitioners of Chinese medicine in China was funded by the National Academy of Sciences. She received her Master's in Traditional Oriental Medicine from Pacific College of Oriental Medicine in 1997 and her Doctor of Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine in 2016. Her study of Chinese medicine began in 1987 when she did an internship with Hen Sen Chin in Seattle and continued at the Tianjin College of Traditional Chinese Medicine in Tianjin, China. In 2010 and 2017 Dr. Ergil completed an advanced certificate in Chinese Medicine Dermatology. Dr. Ergil is the co-author of the Pocket Atlas of Chinese Medicine, the translator of Practical Diagnosis in Traditional Chinese Medicine ¬ and co-translator of Jiao Shu-De's Ten Lectures on the Use of Chinese Medicinals. She has received advanced clinical training in Chinese medicine dermatology and the treatment of infertility. She has been teaching Chinese medicine since 1989 and has been in practice in New York since 1997. While Dr. Ergil's practice is a general practice, she specializes in the treatment of children, gynecological conditions and skin conditions.

Michael Pingicer, L.Ac, M.S.A.O.M., Associate Professor, AOM Clinic Director

Michael Pingicer, L.Ac, MSAOM is an Associate Professor and the AOM Clinic Director at the Finger Lakes School of Acupuncture & Oriental Medicine of New York Chiropractic College.

Mr. Pingicer is an experienced clinical practitioner with specialization in musculoskeletal and pain conditions. Mr. Pingicer is certified in Sports Medicine Acupuncture® and Zheng Gu Tui Na (Chinese medical bodywork) and is certified with the National Acupuncture Detoxification Association and Acupuncturists Without Borders.

Mr. Pingicer established and maintained busy private Oriental Medicine practices in Brooklyn and Manhattan where he practiced for nearly a decade before coming to NYCC in 2014.

As a full-time faculty member at the Finger Lakes School, he teaches in the classroom and supervises in the clinics. In the classroom he teaches acupuncture point location, clinical skills, herbal medicine, and teaches an advanced treatment of painful conditions elective.

As AOM Clinic Director, he coordinates and oversees all aspects of clinical education for the Finger Lakes School of Acupuncture & Oriental Medicine at all four AOM clinic locations.

He earned a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology from The College of William & Mary in Williamsburg, VA in 1999. He earned a Master of Science in Oriental Medicine, from Touro College in New York City in 2005. While in clinical practice in NYC, he served as an adjunct faculty member in the Oriental Medicine program at Touro College.

He immensely enjoys his role as a clinical supervisor to AOM students and looks forward to seeing you in the clinic.

Alexandra Fiore, D.C., Clinical Educator Coordinator

Alexandra Fiore, D.C. is the Clinical Educator Coordinator at New York Chiropractic College and enjoys treating patients at both the Seneca Falls Health Center and the Campus Health Center. Dr. Fiore graduated with honors from New York Chiropractic College with her Doctorate of Chiropractic Degree after attending Boston College for her undergraduate studies.

Dr. Fiore treats patients at the Seneca Falls Health Center, but is also heavily involved in the academic and clinical education of the students at NYCC. She is committed to helping her patients achieve their maximum health and wellness through a wide variety of safe and effective treatments. She is also very passionate about providing the students with the best possible clinical experience.

Timothy M. Whiting, D.C., Faculty Clinician

Timothy M. Whiting, D.C. is a Full-time Faculty Clinician at New York Chiropractic College, treating patients in both the Campus Health Center and the Seneca Falls Health Center. Dr. Whiting attended Lemoyne College where he earned his Bachelors of Science degree in 2011. In 2014 he graduated from New York Chiropractic College with honors, earning his Doctor of Chiropractic degree.

Dr. Whiting is heavily involved in the education of students at the clinical level as he works with students as they first enter the clinic system in 7th trimester. He emphasizes patient centered and evidenced informed care and relies heavily on rehabilitation exercises as part of his treatment process. Dr. Whiting works with students in many other capacities, serving as the advisor for the Rehab to Performance club and the lead instructor for 2 online classes related chiropractic coding, billing and office management.

Dr. Whiting makes sure his students and his patients have a clear understanding as to what is going on with them. Taking the time to educate the patients on their condition and making sure they take an active role in their own healthcare utilizing rehab on a daily basis. He enjoys working with a variety of patients but highly enjoys working with athletes and complicated back and neck pain patients.

Larissa Severson, DC, Adjunct Faculty Clinician

Larissa Severson, DC, is a graduate of St. John Fisher College where she earned her bachelor's degree in Biology always knowing she was interested in the healthcare field. During that time, Dr. Severson suffered from chronic migraines and sought chiropractic care as treatment. Through this positive experience, she was inspired to pursue a career in chiropractic herself.

She is a graduate from the New York Chiropractic College in Seneca Falls, New York and is a member of the Phi Chi Omega Honor Society. She is a member of the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association and has been certified in Webster Technique for pregnancy. In addition, she has completed continuing education in pediatric chiropractic care.
